RICHLAND, Wash.- According to a press release sent by the Port of Benton Public Information Officer Summers Miya, the Port of Benton will be purchasing the 12,000-square-foot former terminal building in the Richland Airport Business Park.
The Community Aviation Revitalization Board (CARB) approved a $1.1 million loan for the Port of Benton to purchase the terminal space.
“The building purchase is strategic for the Port and in line with Richland Airport’s Master Plan, which outlines future growth and development of the airport to benefit our region,” said Port Commission President Christy Rasmussen.
