The annual Benton Franklin County Fair is back; here’s what you need to know

BENTON COUNTY, Wash.- Benton Franklin Fair will celebrate its 76 year of operation providing a multi-day celebration.

The Fair will open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. beginning on Tuesday, August 20 through Saturday, August 24.

According to Benton County Fair officials, in 2023, the fair welcomed over 110,000 visitors in a five-day period, proving to be one of the region’s largest annual events.

Here is everything you need to know in a glance:

Admission:

Adults: $15 at the Gate | Kids: $5 (6-12) | Seniors: $5 (65 and older)|

Military: $5 (must show ID at the gate) | Children 5 and under: Free |

$12 during the event

Kids’ Day:

$2 entrance fee for kids (6-12) on Wednesday, August 21

The fair will provide an array of entertainment events, concerts, and fun for the whole family.

Rodeo’s

Horse Heaven Round- Up welcomes the community to five nights of rodeo performances featuring top contestants from across the U.S. and Canada. The rodeo’s will be held nightly from 7 p.m. onward at the Lithia RAM Arena.

Each night will showcase a different theme, including Opening Night, Family Night, the ‘Tough Enough to Wear Pink’ Breast Cancer Fundraiser, Visiting Royalty and Patriot’s Night.

The rodeo will conclude with the Brewer’s Grade Band performing at Dancin’ in the Dirt on Saturday at 10 p.m.

Concerts

This year the fair welcomes a diversity talent from Grammy nominated artists, to Billboard chart toppers, musical trendsetters, to a group inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame.

Concerts will begin everyday at 7:45 p.m. at the Fairground’s main stage.

The 2024 Benton Franklin County Rodeo will showcase parades, animal showings, visual and performing art and games.
