Teen arrested in Pasco for allegedly speeding from police, driving under influence

PASCO, Wash. – A 15-year-old was arrested for allegedly driving recklessly, attempting to elude, driving under the influence and other outstanding warrants on Thursday in Pasco.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was refueling at a gas station on Road 68 and Sandifur Parkway when he saw a pickup truck power slide through an intersection and speed away along Sandifur.

The deputy found the truck parked in the intersection of Bolder Drive and Rio Grande Lane which sped away when the deputy attempted a traffic stop.

FCSO says the truck turned on Valdez Lane where it hit the curb and blew out a tire. The driver, a 15-year-old, was arrested and booked on charges of attempting to elude, reckless driving and driving under the influence along with outstanding warrants.
