YAKIMA, Wash.-The Taxpayer Assistance Center is now open in a new location in Union Gap.
The Internal Revenue Service announced the opening of the new center in the Cascade Building located at 2600 Business Parkway on Dec. 30.
Taxpayer Assistance Centers are available to assist taxpayers face-to-face, however, the quickest way to get assistance is online through IRS.gov, according to the IRS.
Public transportation, as well as free parking are available at the new TAC location.
According to the IRS, TAC’s operate by appointment, which can be scheduled at the Yakima location by calling 844-545-5640. The new location is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
