RICHLAND, Wash. – The yearly Polar Plunge is set for Saturday, Jan. 13 at the Columbia Point Marina Park.
Participants are invited to take the plunge into the Columbia River to support Special Olympics Washington.
Anyone can register individually or to a team. Registrants are required to raise a minimum of $50 after the $25 registration fee. Special Olympics athletes can register for free and receive a shirt after raising $25.
Several local businesses and organizations have already created teams that anyone can join, including the SportsPage Bar and The Arc of Tri-Cities.
