SWAT standoff in Pasco ends with 1 detained, 1 still at-large

PASCO, Wash. – One person was detained after a SWAT situation in Pasco near North Elm Avenue and East Adelia Street on Thursday, according to the Pasco Police Department.

Police say the situation was for serving a felony warrant. SWAT teams were called due to the history of the warrant, however officials did not share details on the warrant.

The front door of the home was reportedly blown off. One person was detained while another person is still at-large.

Officials have cleared the area apart from a few officers who will investigate further. The Richland Bomb Squad, Benton and Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies and Richland and West Richland Police helped Pasco Police and SWAT in the detainment.
