PASCO, Wash.-Two people are behind bars, suspected of stealing a car after an early morning chase between Pasco and Finley on June 26.
The chase started around 4:49 a.m. when Pasco police spotted a Jeep that had been reported stolen driving around Pasco and tried to stop it.
According to Pasco PD, officers chased the suspects in the Jeep over the bridge and into Finley before the man driving and a woman passenger got out and ran.
The suspects were reportedly quickly caught in the field and the 33-year-old driver was arrested on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and eluding. The passenger, a 31-year-old woman, was booked on suspicion of possession of a stolen car and for an outstanding warrant, according to Pasco PD.
