KENNEWICK, Wash.–A 22-year-old man drove himself, and a 16-year-old girl, into a ditch this morning on S. Bofer Canyon Rd., running parallel to I-82.
Upon arrival, officers found the man was showing signs of being under the influence of alcohol, and he was taken into custody for a DUI charge, according to a Benton County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post.
A family member of the passenger arrived at the scene, and the girl was released to her family upon request from her mother, according to the post.
