KENNEWICK, Wash.-One person is in custody after a standoff in Kennewick on the morning of May 15.
Kennewick police responded to reports of shots fired in the area of W. 1st Avenue and S. Quay Street around 9 a.m.
According to the KPD, the area was blocked off after it was determined that the suspect was on the second floor of an apartment complex.
The suspect barricaded themselves in the apartment and the Regional SWAT team responded to the situation.
According to Kennewick police, the suspect eventually came out of the apartment and was taken into custody.
No injuries were reported in the shots fires, although a car was hit, according to the KPD.
