SUNNYSIDE, Wash. – A new fire engine will be revealed on Sat., May 4 at the Sunnyside Fire Station as part of a push-in ceremony.
The reveal is set for 11 a.m. at 513 S. 8th St. Light refreshments will be given out.
Push-in ceremonies date back to the days of horse-drawn equipment in the 1800s when fire crews had to push equipment back into the bay after use.
