YAKIMA, Wash.-The Second Annual Suds Against Suicide is set for Sept. 14 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Chainsaw Cat.
The fundraiser for the Washington State Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is open to all ages and the community is invited to attend or make a donation.
“This event came about from trying to figure out a way to positively process my own pain due to the loss of my father to suicide,” said event organizer Jason Graham.
Suds Against Suicide will feature a tattoo flash marathon from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. and food will be available for purchase from Eazy Eats, there will be live music from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a raffle will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, according to a press release on the event.
“I want others in the same situation to know that they are not alone in this struggle,” Graham said. “That there is a community of people that can come together and offer support.”
