Students compete in FIRST LEGO League robotics competition Dec. 14, 15 in Pasco

PASCO, Wash. – The FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is coming to Pasco on Dec. 14 and 15, featuring students from 4th to 8th grade competing to build LEGO robots to solve real-world problems.

Teams across Central Washington will compete from noon to 5 p.m. each day at Stevens Middle School, working together to tackle a unique annual theme.

This year’s FLL competition consists of a series of robotics tasks along with the presentation of research projects related to underwater research and exploration.

60 teams from communities across Central Washington will be in attendance, including the Tri-Cities, Prosser, Grandview, Ephrata and more. Each team is competing to earn a spot at the Eastern Washington State Championship.

The event is free and open to the public to come and support their local teams.
