WALLA WALLA, Wash.-Stage Four detours will be in place on a stretch of South Second Avenue in Walla Walla on July 11 and 12.
South Second Avenue will be closed from Birch Street to Chestnut Street for utility lowering in preparation for roadway grinding, according to the City of Walla Walla.
The utility work and grinding are part of Walla Walla’s 2nd Avenue Pavement Restoration Project.
Emergency vehicles will have access to the area during the project, according to Walla Walla.
