YAKIMA COUNTY, Wash.-The Washington State Patrol is looking for anyone who may have witnessed a deadly head-on crash on I-82 between Wapato and Toppenish on May 22.
The crash happened around 1:50 p.m. in the westbound lanes when a black Ford Explorer going eastbound swerved toward the center of the road, crossed the median and hit a semi going westbound, according to the WSP.
The driver of the Explorer, 57-year-old Jose Martinez of Yakima was killed in the crash.
A white box van may also have been in the area at the time of the crash, according to the WSP.
