TRI-CITIES, Wash.-Registration is now open for a Youth Symposium set for May 23 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Three Rivers Convention Center.
The Benton Franklin Health District is partnering with Key Connection on the symposium aimed at creating action plans for community leaders to create safe and healthy environments for youth in the area, according to a BFHD press release.
Anyone who works with youth is encouraged to attend the symposium, including teachers, police officers, nonprofits, fire departments, churches and advocates.
Registration for the symposium can be done online.
A panel of community members and professionals will take part in the event emphasizing collaboration and inclusion that will start with breakfast and include discussion, networking and youth intervention resources, according to today’s press release.
The Three Rivers Convention Center is located at 7016 W. Grandridge Boulevard in Kennewick.
