SELAH, Wash. – A fire closed SR 821 through the Yakima River Canyon, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
According to Central Washington Dispatch, the Lmuma Creek Fire is two acres in size and burning at milepost 12.
Drivers were told to take I-82 instead, however WSDOT says SR 821 has since been reopened.
No one has been injured by the fire and it is unknown if any structures were threatened.
