KENNEWICK, Wash. – A single-vehicle rollover collision in Kennewick on Sept. 21 sends one to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
According to WSP Trooper Sarah Clasen, a driver was traveling eastbound on SR 240 near milepost 40 when they drifted off the side of the road and overcorrected, causing the vehicle to roll over at approximately 2:50 p.m.
The driver wore a seatbelt and was transported to the hospital with a head injury.
The vehicle was destroyed.
The collision caused traffic backups in the eastbound and westbound lanes for about an hour.
