RICHLAND, Wash.- Stick + Stone is a restaurant in the Queensgate area of Richland that serves Neapolitan-style pizzas, sandwiches and salads. It has been a part of the Tri-Cities community for over a decade and was recently featured on “America’s Best Restaurants’ Roadshow” in September.
The owner of the restaurant, Talon Yager, says it is amazing to be recognized on a national scale as a restaurant, not only for his business, but for all of the Tri-Cities.
The special dome pizza oven used at Stick + Stone is one of two in the entire state of Washington. Yager says it helps cook the pizza even and fast without ruining the flavor.
Talon says it has been amazing to see the community support over his 11-year tenure with the restaurant. He hopes the national spotlight brings more attention to local Tri-Cities restaurants.
Yager says the next steps for Stick + Stone are fine-tuning its catering process, deliveries and possibly another location.
Stick + Stone is located at 3027 Duportail St in Richland, WA. The hours are 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
