JACKSONVILLE, Fla.: The West Richland woman accused of orchestrating the murder of her Microsoft executive ex-husband was officially extradited to Duval County Jail over the weekend.
NonStop Local NBC affiliate First Coast News reported on Saturday, Oct. 21, that officials had officially booked Shanna Gardner in Duval County Jail after an extradition hearing last Thursday.
Gardner, 36, was arrested on Aug. 16 in West Richland, more than 18 months after her ex-husband, Jared Bridegan, was shot in the street while leaving Gardner’s home in Jacksonville Beach on Feb. 16, 2022.
According to jail records, Gardner faces charges of first-degree murder, solicitation to commit a capital felony, conspiracy to commit murder and child abuse. Gardner is one of three people, including her second husband, Mario Fernandez, charged with Bridegan’s murder.
Gardner’s arraignment in Duval County Court is scheduled for Nov. 3
