SELAH, Wash. – Traffic is being impacted by a semi truck crash Friday afternoon in Selah.
According to Patrol Lieutenant Aaron Wuitschick with the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office, the truck crashed into a power pole in the 600 block of Mapleway Road at 1:28 p.m., causing the back fires to catch fire.
Traffic on Mapleway will be blocked for an undetermined amount of time while crews clear the scene.
Utility crews are working to repair the pole.
