YAKIMA, Wash.-A Selah man has been sentenced for selling methamphetamines and fentanyl in the Yakima Valley.

Ronald Lee Ralston Jr., 36, of Selah pleaded guilty to one count of Conspiracy to Distribute 500 Grams or more of methamphetamine on Nov. 28 of 2023, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington.

Ralston’s 138 months in prison will be followed by five years of supervised release.

The FBI developed information that Ralston and another man were selling meth out of Ralston’s house in Selah, according to court documents and Ralston was caught on camera discussing future drug deals with a confidential informant in May of 2023.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s press release, the informant purchased a pound of meth and 100 fentanyl pills from Ralston on May 16 of 2023.

One and a half pounds of meth, other drugs and guns were seized at Ralston’s home after a search warrant was obtained in June of 2023.

According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, the other man arrested with Ralston has also pleaded guilty and will be charged on March 12.

“The sentence in this case represents the significance the FBI, our federal, state, and local partners, and prosecutors place on saving lives through the removal of illicit drugs from our communities and holding those accountable who are responsible for their distribution,” said Richard A. Collodi, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Seattle field office.
