WEST RICHLAND, Wash.-The identity of the victim found at the home of Elias Huizar on April 22 is now known.
According to the West Richland Police Department, 17-year-old Angelica Santos was found dead in the home.
Santos is the mother of the one-year-old that Huizar took with him when he fled and is also the victim in the third degree rape charges brought against Huizar, according to the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office.
An autopsy for Santos is scheduled for later this week.
The one-year-old child was unharmed when Huizar was stopped outside Eugene and died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
