YAKIMA, Wash.- Update 1:54. The fire on Marsh Road is now out, according to East Valley Fire Chief Lamoureux.

12:53 p.m. According to East Valley Fire Chief Lamoureux, the brush fire at Marsh Road in Terrace Heights is estimated to be at approximately 300 acres and growing.

Lamoureux said one house was evacuated and there are around 30 firefighters on scene. Helicopters were also called to drop water on the fire. In a Facebook post, Yakima County Fire District 4 said they expect crews to be out there all day.

The fire is just east of one that burned about 21 acres yesterday, according to Suncomm Communications. That fire was caused by a lawnmower that tossed a rock, causing a spark that ignited dry brush.

Suncomm communications is asking people to not call 911 in regards to the fire unless a new threat to people or property is seen.
