School deemed safe after online threats in Milton-Freewater

MILTON-FREEWATER, Ore.-The Milton-Freewater School District and law enforcement investigated a threat made online and determined that it was safe to hold school on Sept. 25.

The threat made against Central Middle School was thoroughly investigated, according to the district and the following statement was provided to families.

The District is aware of a social media post indicating a potential threat to Central Middle School. We take these matters very seriously, and both Law Enforcement and the District have thoroughly investigated the situation. It has been determined safe to conduct school.
