PASCO, Wash.-The Salvation Army officially opened its Client’s Choice Pantry on Thursday, Nov. 16.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held at the pantry at 310 N. 4th Ave in Pasco that included tours and highlighted the services that the pantry will allow the Salvation Army to provide the community.
The Client’s Choice Pantry will serve those in need by allowing them to select food, rather than receive a pre-packaged meal or box of food. The system will allow for better service by enabling customers to not take what they may already have or don’t need, or that they can’t eat for personal or health reasons.
