YAKIMA, Wash.-The Russell Lane Intersection Realignment Project is now complete.
The City of Yakima announced completion of the project to improve the connection between Russell Lane by shifting it about 100 feet to align with the intersection at South 1st Street on Nov. 8.
“This project represents a strategic investment in Yakima’s infrastructure by enhancing access to commercial areas and setting the stage for business growth and job creation,” said Yakima City Manager Vicki Baker.
The Russell Lane Project cost $1 million, of which $832,000 came from Yakima County Supporting Investments in Economic Development (SIED) program funds.
