YAKIMA, Wash.-Yakima Valley College is now accepting applications for its Running Start program.
Applications for students planning to start Winter Quarter 2025 are open through Nov. 8.
Through Running Start eligible high school juniors and seniors can enroll online or in-person at YVC’s Yakima or Grandview campuses and earn high school and college credits tuition free, according to a YVC press release.
Students at public and private high schools, as well as homeschooled students are all eligible for Running Start.
According to YVC, Running Start allows students to earn up to two years of college credit tuition free, attend classes full or part time, transition to college life and save money by working on their college degree while still in high school.
