TRI-CITIES, Wash. – The Benton Franklin Recovery Coalition and Trilogy Recovery are both hosting their own Run for Recovery on Sat., Sept. 14 in Pasco and Walla Walla respectively.
Both runs are being hosted in honor of National Recovery Month, an initiative run yearly in September by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration to promote new mental health and addiction recovery practices.
The Benton Franklin Recovery Coalition’s 5k run starts at 9 a.m. at Wade Park in Pasco. Runners can register online.
Trilogy Recovery’s 1k and 5k runs start at 10 a.m. at Pioneer Park following the toddler jog at 9:40 a.m., which runners can also register online for. A fun fest is also planned from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the park, featuring a raffle, food and games.
