
YAKIMA, Wash. – Rosenda’s Hope and Wellness House Yakima are remembering and honoring all missing and murdered indigenous women (MMIW) with an event in Yakima Feb. 13.
All families of MMIW are invited to wear red and attend. The event takes place at the Wellness House at 6006 Summitview Ave. from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
A light lunch will be provided.
Rosenda’s Hope was created following the death of Rosenda Strong, who went missing in 2018 and was found dead months later. As of 2025, no arrests have been made in regards to her murder.
