BENTON COUNTY, Wash. – According to a press memo from the Washington State Patrol, a Mattawa man is dead after a rollover crash on SR 240 17 miles west of Richland early Saturday morning.
WSP says a car was heading westbound around 2:22 a.m. when it left the road around milepost 5 and rolled to a stop.
Florentino Jacinto Santos, 30, of Mattawa, WA was killed in the crash.
Two others were in the car with one leaving uninjured and the other, the driver, being injured and pending charges.
WSP says Jacinto Santos was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash and notes that drugs or alcohol were involved.
