Ritzville High School students return home early following bomb threat

RITZVILLE, Wash. — Parents of students at Lind-Ritzville High School are being asked to pick children up early due to a bomb threat reported Thursday afternoon.

According to Lind-Ritzville Cooperative Schools, “We received a bomb threat for today directed at LRHS. At the direction of law enforcement we are evacuating the buildings and closing the Ritzville campus for the remainder of the school day.”

Buses started are taking students back home around 1 p.m. today. If students do not take the bus, parents are asked to pick up their children as soon as possible.
