RICHLAND, Wash.-Richland Rehabilitation Center has been named one of the “Best Nursing Homes of 2024” by U.S. News & World Report.
The best nursing homes were determined based on data concerning resident care, safety, outcomes and other aspects of quality.
“We are thankful to be recognized by U.S. News as a top provider for post-hospital recovery and rehabilitation,” said Hollie Kaiser, administrator for Richland Rehabilitation Center.
Both short and long-term ratings include data on nurse staffing, use of antipsychotic drugs and success in preventing ER and hospital visits, according to a Prestige Care press release announcing the recognition.
To be recognized as one of the best nursing homes, a center must be considered “high performing” in short-term rehabilitation, long-term care or both, based on data from Nursing Home Compare, a resource run by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
According to Prestige Care, the Richland Rehabilitation Center provides specialized short-term rehabilitation, as well as long-term skilled nursing care.
“At Richland Rehabilitation Center, our number one goal is to offer the best possible care for our patients and that wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated team members putting forth their best effort every day,” said Kaiser.
