RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland Police Department is holding a Coffee with a Cop event at the Caterpillar Café in the Richland Public Library on Oct. 2.
Community members are invited to sit down with local officers and enjoy coffee and conversations in a relaxed and non-intrusive setting.
“We know that building strong relationships with the community is essential for effective policing,” said Interim Chief of Police Craig Meidl. “Coffee with a Cop is just one of the ways we strive to connect with community members, listen to their feedback and work together to ensure the safety and well-being of our neighborhoods.”
The event runs from from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
