Hanford’s B Reactor Museum Association is hoping people attend an event to hear the accomplishments of the Manhattan Project National Historic Park in 2024.

The Manhattan Project NHP is co-managed with the National Park Service (NPS) and the Department of Energy.

According to a release, the program provides a look at how the NPS uses a variety of formats from ranger programs to digital platforms to provide opportunities for everyone from students to retirees to learn and connect to the world-changing events of the Manhattan Project.

The event Monday evening, January 13, at the Richland library will be hosted by Hanford Unit Site Manager Becky Burghart. She will highlight the roles, responsibilities, and accomplishments of the National Park Service (NPS) and highlight park goals for 2025, the release said.
