RICHLAND, Wash.-The Richland Farmers Market will close an hour early due to excessive heat on Friday, Aug. 2.
The market will close at noon, instead of 1 p.m. due to an excessive heat warning for the area being in effect until 8 p.m.
The early closure is to help ensure the safety of both vendors and shoppers and to allow them to get out of the heat, according to a post from the Farmers Market.
