RICHLAND, Wash. – The Richland Fire Department and Richland Police Department responded to a fire Sunday afternoon at the Island View Apartments.
Crews responded just after 2:30 p.m. to the fire after sirens went off in building B of the apartment complex.
A NonStop Local reporter said the fire was caused by a resident of the complex leaving stir fry unattended to go fishing.
No injuries have been reported following the fire.
