SEATTLE, Wash.-A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever was responsible for the burglary and theft of 20 guns from a Hermiston pawn shop.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the National Shooting Sports Foundation announced the award on Oct. 10.
The ATF is putting up a $5,000 award and the NSSF is matching that for a total award of $10,000, according to the ATF.
The ATF, along with the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the Aug. 16 robbery of Ace Jewelry and Loan.
Surveillance footage shows one person entering the store and leaving around 2:52 a.m. with handguns, rifles and shotguns, according to an ATF press release.
The suspect in the break-in, believed to have been a male by the ATF, was wearing blue pants and a black sweatshirt and got into a dark colored sedan after leaving the store.
