YAKIMA, Wash. – According to Casey Schilperoort from the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office, residents near Marsh Road in Terrace Heights are being evacuated due to a growing fire.
Ryan Evers from Yakima County Fire District 4 says the fire is around 25 to 30 acres in size and that Marsh Road is closed.
A house roof reportedly caught fire but was put out before damage occurred. No injuries have been reported.
Level 3 (GO NOW) evacuations are in place on Marsh Road, according to Evers.
