MIAMI, FL.-The personal finance website WalletHub has released its report on the worst states to drive in for 2024, as well as tips for a better driving experience.
Nobody likes to be stuck in traffic or to share the road with discourteous drivers and just about everyone thinks the drivers in their town are the worst. According to WalletHub the drivers in some states actually are worse than others and its report ranks the states with the best and worst residents behind the wheel.
WalletHub compared all 50 states across 31 metrics, including gas prices, congestion and road quality.
According to WalletHub’s report, Washington is the second-worst state for drivers, ahead of only Hawaii, while the best states were Iowa, Georgia, Kansas, Oklahoma and Alabama. WalletHub’s full report on the best states for drivers is available online.
