MIAMI, FL.-Looking for a new job in the New Year? The personal finance website WalletHub has released its report on the best places to find a job in 2024, along with tips for finding a good job that’s the right fit for you.
WalletHub compared 180 American cities across 31 metrics, including the amount of job openings per job seeker, to employment growth forecasts and monthly average starting salaries.
According to WalletHub’s report, while Seattle ranks seventh best for finding work, Scottsdale, Arizona is the best city for job seekers in 2024.
“Scottsdale, AZ is the best city for jobs in 2024 because it has the highest job growth in the nation,” said Cassandra Happe, WalletHub analyst. “The average annual job growth is nearly 12%, so there will be a lot of new hiring opportunities.”
