BENTON COUNTY, Wash.-The remains of 38-year-old Oscar Munos, missing since Dec. of 2023 were found on March 14.
According to the Kennewick Police Department, remains believed to be Munos were discovered in the Horn Rapids Park area off of State Route 225.
Munos’ family has been notified that the remains were found and an autopsy is scheduled for March 15, according to the KPD.
Munos was last seen on Dec. 31, 2023 and disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Three suspects were arrested in connection to the case in Feb., including Michael Ray Golden, Munos’ roommate.
According to the KPD, Golden was sentenced to 19 and a half years in prison on March 13 for second degree murder.
Golden’s mother, Kari Ann Golden and his girlfriend, Coral Yazmin Ochoa Hernandes, have also been charged with 1st Degree Rendering Criminal Assistance in the case, according to a KPD press release on the discovery of the remains.
