President Biden issued a Presidential Proclamation on Indigenous Peoples’ Day 2023 on October 6 and regional politicians are releasing statements on the Holiday today.
Washington Governor Jay Inslee issued the following statement on social media:

Senator Patty Murray (D-WA), released the following statement on X (formerly twitter):
