RICHLAND, Wash. – Two people were brought to a hospital on Thursday after a rear-ended crash on I-182 in Richland, according to the Washington State Patrol.
WSP says at around 9 a.m., two cars were driving westbound on I-182 just east of George Washington Way. The car in front reportedly slowed down for traffic, resulting in the other car to hit the back of the slowing car.
Two passengers in the following car were injured. Both drivers were uninjured, however the following car’s driver is facing a second degree negligent driving charge.
WSP determined that the cause was inattention. No drugs or alcohol were involved.
