PROSSER, Wash.-The Annual Scottish Fest and Highland Games are Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Port of Benton Prosser Wine and Food Park.
The family-friendly celebration of Scottish culture includes classic heavy athletics events, clan gatherings, Celtic bands and Highland dancing.
Attendees will also enjoy youth activities and athletic events, several Celtic bands, a Highland market and a pub, according to a press release on the annual event.
The traditional Scottish favorite “heavy athletics” events include the caber toss, as well as stone, hammer and weight events, such as the anvil and keg toss.
Admission is $12 for adults and $6 for ages 5-12 and over 65. Tickets are available online.
