RICHLAND, Wash.-Members of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation will hold a Drummers and Dancers celebration at the Reach Museum in honor of Native American Heritage Month on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The celebration will feature traditional drumming and dancing that shares and promotes tribal heritage, culture and language at 10 a.m., noon and from 1-3 p.m., according to the museum.
Traditional craft demonstrations, such as flint knapping and tule mat weaving will also take place at the museum throughout the day.
The Drummers and Dancers celebration is free with a regular paid museum admission of $12 and $6 for students, military and seniors.
