Rare cards worth $45k, including Jordan rookie missing from Walla Walla shop found

The lost cards were recovered following intervention from FedEx, according to Digital Heroes owner Jeff Watson.

“We are incredibly grateful to the team at FedEx, particularly Kelita, for their dedication and diligence in locating our missing package,” said Digital Heroes owner Jeff Watson. “Their proactive efforts and commitment to customer service went above and beyond, ensuring a swift and positive resolution to this situation.”

A local cards and comics shop is asking for the public’s help after a package with five rare and valuable trading cards went missing last week.

The package, which contained five cards worth an estimated $45,000, was stolen from a FedEx truck on its way to Digital Heroes in Walla Walla, according to the store.

“These cards are incredibly valuable and irreplaceable,” said Jeff Watson, owner of Digital Heroes. “We’d really like to have them back, no questions asked.”

According to a Digital Heroes press release, the missing cards include 1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card graded 3.5. The package also contained four coveted Magic the Gathering cards from the original 1993 Alpha release.
