RICHLAND, Wash.-The community is invited to attend free public tours of the Port of Benton on Oct. 1.
The free bus tour will leave the port’s main office at 3250 Port of Benton Blvd., Richland, Washington, on Tuesday, October 1 at 8 a.m.
The port’s industrial facilities in north Richland and rail network will be included in the tour.
According to the Port, the tour will also give attendees a look at the site of the future intermodal facility, made possibly by the recent Port of Benton – City of Richland land swap.
The Richland and Prosser Airports will also be included in the tour, as will the Vintners Village, Prosser Wine & Food Park and the Walter Clore Center.
Registration is required for the tours by Sept. 24 and space is limited.
Light snacks and water will be provided during the tour.
