PASCO, Wash. – The City of Pasco announced that its Broadmoor Corridor project is continuing on Mon., July 22 with upgrades to the intersection of Broadmoor Boulevard and Burns Road.

The City says upgrades include new curbs, gutters, sidewalks and a traffic signal. Throughout construction, the intersection will be a four-way stop with some traffic modification notices through Dec. 2024.

The Broadmoor Corridor project aims to “enhance infrastructure and stimulate economic development” through multiple projects, like a new roundabout on the south end of the I-182 interchange and improvements at the Sandifur-Broadmoor intersection.

These projects are being funded through the Tax Increment Financing program, which uses increased property tax revenues from the development for funding without affecting existing taxpayers, per the City.
