UMATILLA, Wash.- Umatilla County Fire District #1 posted to Facebook to assure Umatilla residents there is no active fire.
UCFD #1 received several calls reporting a fire in the area of Highway 730 and Craig Road.
This fire is a prescribed burn according to UCFD #1.
The burn is being performed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs to remove ground and invasive fuels.
