Power restored in Toppenish to 5,8000 customers affected by a pole fire

TOPPENISH, Wash.- UPDATE Sunday, May 12 at 3:31 p.m.

According to Pacific Power, electricity has been restored to all affected customers in the Toppenish area as of 2:45 p.m.

A power outage is affecting 5,800 Pacific Power customers in Toppenish.

According to Pacific Power, a pole fire caused the outage late Sunday morning. Crews are in the area working to restore power. As of Sunday May 12th 12pm, it is reported the situation is ongoing with officials estimating a 9 p.m. restoration in electricity.

Pacific Power ask customers to call 1-877-509-5888 if there power isn’t restored by 9 p.m. Sunday evening.
